CUH athletes frustrated with losing and administration

172-523 record in five years. The Chaminade University athletic department consists of 10 sports and only two fully funded programs. With no facilities of its own, Chaminade pays to use Saint Louis High School’s soccer field and gymnasium and has off-campus “home” games for tennis and softball.

CUH men's hoops blasted in Maui, ready for Pac West play

The Chaminade men’s basketball team brutally fell during the Maui Invitational losing by double digits in all three games against UCLA, Georgetown, and Tennesssee. Although the experience was a tough one, they are already looking into the future for victories. Having played only six games so far this season and winning only three of them, the Swords are preparing for the next four games they face in December.

School spirit needed, intramural sports wanted

There are so many activities on campus, yet not as many participants as there were a few years ago. Of the many activities hosted by OSAL, one activity they are focusing on is intramural sports. Open to all students, faculty, staff and alumni, it is a way for registered teams to compete in basketball or volleyball for trophies and bragging rights.

Honolulu Marathon

Jason Nguyen, 24-year-old student from University of Hawaii at Manoa, a first marathoner, started training since January, after The Great Aloha Run. He runs three times a week, two short runs, one long run, and slowly builds up the miles. Two weeks ago Nguyen made 19 miles in three hours.
